PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To estimate a proliferation state of a bacteria of a target region and to kill the bacteria on the basis of the estimated value to suppress the proliferation of the bacteria. SOLUTION: This sterilizer has a proliferation estimating means 12 for estimating the proliferation state of the bacteria of the target region and a sterilization means 10. By controlling the sterilization means on the basis of the estimated result of the proliferation estimating means 12, the right time for next sterilization and sterilization intensity can be properly set after sterilizing the target region.
