Disclosed is a three-terminal capacitor with which a low-cost and highly accurate noise suppressing structure can be provided. A structure having the three-terminal capacitor mounted thereon is also disclosed. A three-terminal capacitor (3-1) is mounted at a position which is exactly below the IC (1) of a BGA terminal and is on the circuit board (2) surface on the reverse side of the surface having the IC mounted thereon. In the BGA terminal, power supply terminals (11, 12) and ground terminals (13, 14) form a minimum square (A), and the arrangement of via holes (21-24) penetrating the circuit board (2) corresponds to the minimum square (A). The three-terminal capacitor (3-1) has a chip body (30) and external electrodes (4-1 to 4-4), and forms a square in planar view. The size of the square is substantially the same as that of the minimum square (A), and the capacitor includes a signal electrode (31) and a ground electrode (32), which face each other. The signal electrode (31) and the ground electrode (32) are connected to the external electrodes (4-1, 4-2) and the external electrodes (4-3, 4-4), respectively, and the external electrodes (4-1, 4-2) and the external electrodes (4-3, 4-4) are connected to the via holes (21, 22) and the via holes (23, 24), respectively. |
