PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new compound which can largely reduce the hysteresis loss of a rubber composition and can greatly improve the abrasion resistance, to provide a rubber composition containing the compound, and to provide a tire using the rubber composition. SOLUTION: There are provided: the new organosilicon compound such as 3-octanoylthio-propyl(ethoxy)-1,3-dioxa-6-methylaza-2-silacyclooctane, or bis[3-(ethoxy)-1,3-dioxa-6-methylaza-2-silacyclooctyl-propyl]disulfide; the rubber composition prepared by compounding a rubber component (A) comprising natural rubber and/or a diene-based synthetic rubber with an inorganic filler (B) and the organosilicon compound (C); and the tire using the rubber composition.
