PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus creating clear still images without being affected by movements of subjects, while capturing moving images. SOLUTION: The imaging apparatus is equipped with: a light distribution section 6 for distributing subject light so that the distribution ratio of the first subject light to the second subject light becomes 1:2 to 1:30; a first image pickup device 8 for imaging the first subject light; a second image pickup device 10 for imaging the second subject light; and an imaging condition setting section 32 for setting the first imaging conditions to the first image pickup device and setting the second imaging conditions differing from the first ones to the second image pickup device.
