PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a baseboard mounting device which enables an existing wooden scaffold board etc. to be used as a baseboard, and which can be used by freely adjusting its width and length, even when the width of the scaffold board is somewhat changed and even when the length of the scaffold board is changed. SOLUTION: This baseboard mounting device includes: a U-shaped cross-section side wall material 13; upper and lower protrusions 15 and 16 which are provided in upper and lower positions with a gap 14 in between, on the downside of the side wall material 13; a male screw material 19 which is provided in the lower protrusion 16 and screwed into a female screw 18, and which can be protruded from the lower protrusion 16; an eccentric cam 22 which is provided on the upper protrusion 15, which has a handle 23 provided via a rotating shaft 21 on a rear side, and which can push an existing material 11; an ascending/descending fitting 30 which is attached in a vertically movable manner to a groove portion 29 of the side wall material 13, which has an upper portion provided with an upper bent portion 35 bent to a front side, and which holds a long plate material 12, arranged in an erected state in a space 36 formed of the upper bent portion 35 and the upper protrusion 15, from above; and a lock mechanism which stops the vertical motion of the ascending/descending fitting 30.
