PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an earphone to be used as an acoustic device, and further in detail, an earphone provided with a casing for improving acoustic characteristics. SOLUTION: The earphone includes: a driver unit; a housing 2 storing the driver unit and having a front 2-1 being a sound output surface and a rear 2-2 formed like a bowl; a hollow casing 1 formed differently from the housing 2; and a connection path 5 for connecting the rear 2-2 of the housing 2 to the end face of the casing 1.
