PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a base-isolation slider box as a construction material which has a high base isolation function against an earthquake during construction of a building and is very easily installed. SOLUTION: The foundation of the building is constructed, and a leg of the building is fixed in a building-leg insertion portion 12 of the base isolation slider box installed and fixed in the foundation. The respective legs are independently suspended. Transmission of vibration to an upper building is blocked by a cushion unit 11 for reducing the vibration due to vertical motion of the earthquake and by sliding a base isolation slider plate 13 based on rotation of a number of small spherical bodies against the vibration due to lateral motion. At an upper part of the base-isolation slide box, an overlapping lid 27 formed by overlapping square ring-shaped parts for protecting the upper part, and a film structure 28 jointed with the overlapping lid 27 to keep the inside of the slide box airtight are installed.
