PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable secure escape from the indoors even when a door cannot be opened and an obstacle which has fallen stands in one's way on either the inside or the outside of the door during an earthquake. SOLUTION: The escape structure 2 of the door is constituted by providing an escape opening 6 from which a human can escape to the body of a sliding door 5 which is provided to the entrance of a building 3 with flexible opening and closing and by attaching an escape door 8 to the escape opening 6. The escape door 8 is locked all the time and is opened in case of an emergency. The escape door 8 is attached to the side edge on one side of the escape opening 6 through the medium of a double-door two-shaft hinge 7 by creating a clearance S1 between the side edge on one side of the escape opening 6 and the sliding door 5 side. A rubber tube 9 which can freely undergo a compression distortion is provided on the outer periphery of the escape door 8, thus the clearance S1 is filled in. When the lock with the sliding door 5 is released, the escape door 8 can be opened both on the inside and the outside of the building 3 by the double-door two-shaft hinge 7.
