PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily attach and detach curtain runners to and from a curtain rail without removing caps on both ends of the rail and to easily fit the curtain rail to tip engaging tools of mounting brackets. SOLUTION: The curtain rail 11 formed approximately cylindrically has a long groove 11a. The ring-like curtain runner 12 loosely fitted to the rail has a notch 12c formed by partially cutting a ring shape. The rail 11 is fixed to a wall 14 through the mounting brackets 16. A first projection 12a is formed on one end of the notch so as to be inserted to the long groove and to extend in a direction to narrow the notch. A second projection 12b having the larger curvature radius is formed on the other end so as not to be inserted to the long groove. A gap between the tips of the first and second projections is formed smaller than the outer diameter of the rail and larger than the thickness of the mounting bracket. When the first projection is inserted to the long groove, the runner can be detached from or loosely fitted to the rail. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
