PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pronunciation evaluation program and a pronunciation evaluation device, which can accurately evaluate whether pronunciation is performed with an optimal rhythm. SOLUTION: A game device 10 includes a CPU 42, and the CPU 42 evaluates user's pronunciation for an original sentence (ES). First, envelopes for a sound volume of voice of the original sentence (ES) and a sound volume of user's voice of are taken, and an average value of the sound volumes is arranged. After arranging the sound volumes, by using each envelope, a similarity degree (score A) of distribution of a local solution when the sound volume is equal to or larger than the average value, a similarity degree (score B) of level distribution (waveform irregularity timing), which indicates whether or not, the sound volume is a value of predetermined multiplication of the average value, or more, and a similarity degree (score C) of a distribution value of the envelope (waveform irregularity distribution), are calculated respectively. Based on the similarity degrees (score A, score B and score C), a rhythm of user's pronunciation is evaluated. As the similarity degree of the waveform irregularity of the sound volume is also evaluated, it is accurately evaluated whether or not, pronunciation is performed with an optimal rhythm.
