PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fluid pressure pad for preventing the vibration of a strip which always provides stable supporting force, and which prevents the vibration of the strip and straightens a camber in the width direction. SOLUTION: The fluid pressure pads 10, 11 for preventing the vibration of the strip are disposed opposite to each other at both thickness-direction sides of the strip 12 leaving an interval of 30-75 mm to the sides and each of the fluid pressure pads includes a fluid jetting member 19 in which longitudinal slits 13-16 for jetting fluid against a strip 12, and lateral slits 17, 18 continuous with the longitudinal slits are formed. The longitudinal slits 13-16 and the lateral slits 17, 18 are inclined at 30-60°with respect to the inside of a vertical plane of projection of the fluid jetting members 19 to the strip 12. In the fluid jetting members 19, two or more pairs of the longitudinal slits 13-16 which can jet the fluid in the width direction of strip 12 of the minimum width are provided in the width direction of the fluid jetting member 19 centered on the middle part and three or more regions which are surrounded by the longitudinal slits 13-16 and the lateral slits 17, 18 are provided in the width direction of the strip 12 of the minimum width.
