The element (1) has an annularly corrugated metal bellow (2) provided with a strip wound hose (6) at sides of a cylindrical bellows end (3). A knitted- or braided hose (4) runs coaxial to a bellow outer contour, and is fixed between angle rings (5) and the bellows end. An outer layer of a bellows part (2b) consists of high corrosion-resistant nickel alloy or stainless steel within area of edge waves and/or the cylindrical bellows end, where the area is material-fittingly connected with another bellows part (2a) made of rustproof steel. An independent claim is also included for a method for producing a flexible line element.
