<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector terminal capable of achieving a high mechanical connection strength and a stable and low electric connection resistance when crimped to an aluminum electric wire and moreover capable of suppressing low an electric contact resistance when engaged with a counterpart connector terminal. <P>SOLUTION: The connector terminal 1A is provided with an electric contact part 10 contacting conductively with a counterpart connector terminal by being engaged with the counterpart connector terminal and a conductor crimping part 12 to be crimped to a conductor of the electric wire. A metal material composing the terminal has aluminum or an aluminum alloy as a base material 100, and is formed of a Zn layer 101 by electroless plating in a range of thickness 0.1-2.0 μm, a Cu layer 102 by electro-plating in a range of thickness 0.5-1.0 μm on a surface of the base material 100 in this order, and on the uppermost surface, there is formed an Sn layer 105 by electro-plating in a range of 0.7-1.7 μm. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
