PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a self-standing type bag where a plurality of housing chambers partitioned on the top and the bottom can easily be formed in the bag by making the bag stand by itself at the time of use, and a mounting area for housed articles can be formed wide in the housing chamber on the top, and in addition, can suitably be used for the heat treatment of the housed articles by securing air permeability between the top and bottom housing chambers. SOLUTION: The self-standing type bag 10 includes: a bag body 15 composed of a pair of side walls 11 and 11, and a gusset-folded bottom wall 13; and an internal partitioning section 17 which partitions the inside of the bag body 15 into a plurality of housing chambers 31 and 32. The self-standing type bag has one or a plurality of the internal partitioning sections 17 which have communicating passages 43 in the bag body 15, and partition the inside of the bag into the plurality of housing chambers in the vertical direction.
