PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector capable of making connection work easy and ensuring connection, and to provide a lock ring for the connector. SOLUTION: The connector 1 includes an internal thread lock ring 30 provided in an outer circumference of an end portion of an electric cable 11 and having an inner peripheral surface provided with a female thread portion 31c, and an external thread lock ring 40 provided in an outer circumference of an end portion of an electric cable 21 connected to the electric cable 11 and having an outer peripheral surface provided with a male thread portion 42a. A recessed portion 33 and a projected portion 43 are respectively provided toward each other in end surfaces of one of the internal thread lock ring 30 and the external thread lock ring 40, and the recessed portion 33 and the projected portion 43 are engaged.
