The present invention provides a solar cell structure and the manufacturing method thereof. The solar cell structure includes an active layer having a plurality of first recesses near the edges thereof; and a transparent conductive layer forming on the active layer and having a plurality of second recesses near the edges thereof connecting to the plurality of first recesses.
