Disclosed is an ozone generator that can eliminate the need to use a cooling water, has a small size, and can realize easy maintenance. The ozone generator comprises a ground electrode (1) formed of a substantially cylindrical metal pipe and a high-voltage electrode (5) that comprises a substantially cylindrical dielectric material which is disposed substantially concentrically on the inner side of the ground electrode (1) and applies a high voltage to an electroconductive layer (6) provided on the inner peripheral surface of the high-voltage electrode (5). An oxygen-containing gas is supplied into a discharge gap provided between the ground electrode (1) and the high-voltage electrode (5) to generate ozone. The ground electrode (1) is provided, on an outer peripheral side thereof, integrally with a plurality of air-cooling cooling fins (2) that are longitudinally extended. |
