The invention relates to a method for operating a steam turbine (7), comprising the following steps: a) steam (D) is produced by combusting solid fuels (3) in the boiler (2) of a steam generator, said combustion being controlled in such a manner that the steam (D) does not exceed an outlet temperature of approximately 450°C; b) one part of the heat of the combustion gas (T1) produced during combustion is indirectly or semi-directly transferred as clean gas (L); c) hot steam (HD) is produced at a temperature higher than approximately 450°C by means of a heat exchanger (6) that is arranged downstream of the steam generator (1) and is heated by the clean gas (HL); and d) the produced hot steam (HD) is used to drive a steam turbine (7) that is downstream of the heat exchanger.
