<p>The present invention provides a method for implementing packet data network (PDN) connection. A terminal obtains a selection policy of the PDN connection. The PDN connection gateway is selected according to the obtained selection of the PDN connection policy, and in the end the PDN connection is established through the selected PDN connection gateway. The present invention also provides a system for implementing PDN connection to support the implementation of the selection of the PDN connection. To implement PDN connection, through the local access gateway or core network access gateway selected by the present invention, the problem of the network resource can be made use of at the furthest and reasonably. On the one hand the occupation of mobile core network resource is reduced, and it is ensured for users to use the services offered by the Internet more rapidly and conveniently; on the other hand the demand of providers to shunt services is satisfied.</p> |
