<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus and a method for producing a nickel-based lithium composite oxide where a producing cost is reduced. <P>SOLUTION: The apparatus for producing the lithium-containing composite oxide containing nickel includes: a firing furnace to fire a raw material containing a lithium-containing hydroxide and a nickel-containing oxide or hydroxide and to synthesize the lithium-containing composite oxide; a first gas supplying path to supply an oxygen gas to the firing furnace; a gas exhausting path to exhaust a mixed gas containing steam and the oxygen gas from the firing furnace; a gas recovering section to separate steam from the mixed gas and to recover the oxygen gas; and a second gas supplying path to supply the oxygen gas recovered in the gas recovering section to the firing furnace. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
