PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bitterness-suppressing agent for food and drink and medicinal drugs.

SOLUTION: The bitterness-suppressing agent is produced from a juice of a stone fruit from which a low-molecular-weight saccharide is removed, wherein the removal ratio of the low-molecular-weight saccharide is 70% or more based on the amount of saccharide in the fruit juice.
