<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus in which images formed on a first surface and a second surface of a sheet S are accurately registered regarding the conveying direction of the image. <P>SOLUTION: A mark, which becomes reference for registration of the image formed on the first surface and the image formed on the second surface is written on the second surface by a writing means 521 when the image on the first surface is formed. Then, the mark is detected by a detection means 522 before the image is formed on the second surface. Then, registration is carried out regarding the conveying direction of the image formed on the first surface and the image formed on the second surface by measuring the timing for feeding the sheet S to a transfer section 50C by a registration unit 55 with the mark detected by the detection means 522 as the reference. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
