PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle control device capable of achieving deceleration-start timing that meets a driver's braking intention. SOLUTION: The vehicle control device includes a control unit 4 that operates a brake control part 5 when reduction in the accelerator-operation amount is detected by an accelerator-state detecting part 2 and a curve is detected in the vehicle-traveling course by a curve detecting part 8.
