PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hood pulling up device for opening/closing a hood covering the top and side of a loading platform in a short time and allowing easy maintenance and inspection of a driving mechanism for opening/closing the hood. SOLUTION: The hood pulling-up device includes: a front supporting column 3 and a rear supporting column 4 standing in front and rear of a loading platform 2a and having arch-like guide rails 9a, 9b respectively; endless chains 10a, 10b attached to the supporting columns and circulating in forward and reverse directions guided by the guide rails 9a, 9b; hood sheet fixtures attached to the endless chains 10a, 10b and moving along the guide rails 9a, 9b; driving sprockets 13a, 13b around which the endless chains 10a, 10b are wound to form an acute angle; guide sprockets 11a, 11b arranged on the sides of the driving sprockets 13a, 13b; and motors 12a, 12b for driving the driving sprockets 13a, 13b.
