<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus excellently composing even images whose feature points are not easily extracted. <P>SOLUTION: The imaging apparatus 100 includes six imaging units 1 to 6 which image images respectively in different directions. The imaging units 1 to 6 each have a field angle set so that an imaging range overlap with imaging ranges of adjacent imaging units, and include a digital signal processing section 17 which puts two image data obtained by imaging images by two adjacent imaging units into a pair of image data, and extracts feature points from respective pairs of image data, and an image composition section 19 which composites two image data by putting overlap parts of two image data of a pair of image data one over the other based upon information on feature points extracted from the pair of image data. For a pair of image data from which no feature point is extracted, the image composition section 19 composites the image data based upon information on feature points of another pair of image data which are extracted by the digital signal processing section 17. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
