PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new pump unit which is designed to prevent a solution to be included from leaking from a slide surface even if the measurement of an appropriate quantity of the solution to be included is repeated by a shutter mechanism in measuring the quantity of the solution to be included and delivering the solution when capsules are to be manufactured. SOLUTION: The pump unit 38 is incorporated into manufacturing equipment 1 of capsules A made by covering the solution N to be included with a skin portion G, and includes a body block 50 having a pump chamber 51, and a shutter mechanism reciprocating pistons 62 which are shaped into a column for example. Sealing members such as V-ring seals 72 are provided in slide holes 61H in the shutter mechanism and in substantially both ends of the piston 62 in a state of being fitted onto the exteriors of roughly both end positions of the pistons 62. The pistons 62 are made to reciprocate while sliding in contact with the sealing members to prevent the solution N to be included from leaking outward from the slide surfaces of the pistons 62.
