PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner for a vehicle capable of attaining a comfortable environment in a cabin by equally supplying conditioning air into the cabin to eliminate unevenness in temperature distribution. SOLUTION: The air conditioner includes suction ports 4a, 4b of cabin air in right and left directions, blower ports 5a, 5b in fore-and-aft directions orthogonally intersecting with the suction ports 4a, 4b, and an indoor unit 2 in which an indoor blower 6 and indoor heat exchangers 8a, 8b are arranged and which is arranged on a ceiling of the cabin 1 of the vehicle, thus blowing out the conditioning air B toward the fore-and-aft directions of the cabin 1 from the blower ports 5a, 5b.
