PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a workpiece installing device for jetting a coolant liquid from above to a pad, without requiring an exclusive jetting member having a jetting port for directly jetting the coolant liquid to the pad. SOLUTION: This workpiece installing device has a clamp arm 1 and the pad 2, and presses a workpiece by the clamp arm 1 from above by placing the piece W on the pad 2. In the clamp arm 1, a supply passage 3 of the coolant liquid C is formed by opening a discharge port 31 of the coolant liquid C on a surface opposed to the pad 2, and when the clamp arm 1 is an unclamped state, the discharge port 31 is positioned above the pad 2, and the coolant liquid C is jetted by pointing to the pad 2 from the discharge port 31, and cleans the pad 2.
