PHOTOSENSITIVE HAIR DYE AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING THE SAME

Disclosed is a photosensitive hair dye which can dye grey hair black even when time of light irradiation is short, and is not easily washed off by shampooing.  The photosensitive hair dye is obtained by mixing a silver salt into a base material containing a water content.  The photosensitive hair dye is characterized in that the base material contains 0.3-9% of an alkanolamine relative to the total amount of the photosensitive hair dye and 0.3-2.0% of the silver salt relative to the total amount of the photosensitive hair dye.  The photosensitive hair dye is also characterized in that the silver salt contains one member selected from silver sulfate, silver acetate, silver lactate, silver oxide and the like.
