<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner equipped with a cleaning device capable of spreading cleaning liquid over the whole surface of a fin of a heat exchanger without dispersing the liquid for cleaning the fin. <P>SOLUTION: The air conditioner includes the heat exchanger 3 composed of the fin 3a and a heat transfer tube 3b and a blower fan 4 at an air passage connecting a suction port 1 and an outlet 2, includes a drain pan 7 below the heat exchanger 3, and includes a cleaning liquid duct 5 having an outflow hole for flowing out the cleaning liquid from above the heat exchanger 3.
