<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surface light source device for eliminating luminance unevenness of a screen while improving luminance of screen display and for attaining thinness, a backlight unit, and a display. <P>SOLUTION: The surface light source device 20 is constructed of a waveform diffusion part 12 in which a valley portion 122 projecting to the rear side and a crest portion 121 projecting to the front side are formed in waveform plate shape continuing alternately, and the plate surface facing the rear side is made an incident face 12a and the plate surface facing the front side is made an emitting face 12b, and which is made of a transparent resin, a light diffusion plate 13 which is arranged on the front side of the waveform diffusion part 12, a reflecting plate 10 which is arranged on the rear side of the waveform diffusion part 12, and a light source 11 which is arranged between the waveform diffusion part 12 and the reflecting plate 10. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
