PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the occurrence of undesired light such as flare and ghost caused by the total reflection of a part of incident light rays.

SOLUTION: The optical element 1 has an area where parts 44 and 45 of a light ray 4 made incident at an angle parallel to an optical axis. In the optical element 1, the emission face has a minute uneven structure 3.
