<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a protective cover suitable for protecting cables from heat, the cables being installed in a place exposed to radiation heat or high temperature gas flow. <P>SOLUTION: A cover body made of a woven material has a rectangular shape formed by knitting aramid fibers and/or ceramic wool fibers. An aluminum layer is formed on the surface. Male or female engaging means are attached to the upper and lower edges and the right and left edges of the cover body. The cover body is wound around the cables to engage with the male and female engaging means at the opposite edges, to protect the cables from radiation heat or a thermal current. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
