PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio reception device that suppresses a decrease in SN ratio even for frequency selective phasing when reception is performed using reception diversities by a plurality of antennas. SOLUTION: The radio reception device includes a plurality of notch detection units which detect notches with respect to signals received from the plurality of antennas by a multicarrier system, a determination unit which determines whether to use a selective synthesis method in a frequency section, including a subcarrier having a notch detected, instead of an equal gain synthesis method or maximum ratio synthesis method once the plurality of notch detection units detect the notch, a plurality of coefficient multiplication units provided by the plurality of antennas and multiplying the signals received from the antennas by a weight coefficient corresponding to the synthesis method selected by the determination unit, and a synthesis unit which synthesizes the signals weighted by the plurality of coefficient multiplication units.
