PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toilet seat device including a compact control part securing a detecting range of a human-body detecting sensor while not impairing an operability of the control part. SOLUTION: The toilet seat device includes a body 200 to be installed on a bed pan 700, a toilet seat 300 with a built-in heat generator 350 for heating a seat face 311, a closet seat cover 400 for covering the body 200 and the seat 300, a recess 210 which is provided on a side of the body 200 and of which a front end recedes from that of the body 200, the control part and the human-body detecting sensor 600 provided on the recess 210 in the toilet. The sensor 600, installed in a position lower than the face 311 of the seat 300, with the cover 400 closed, includes a standard detection range WS with a specified width and a specified height in a widthways vertical face in the front end of the cover 400, thereby providing the toilet seat device including the compact control part while not impairing the operability of the recess 210.
