摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic sensor element capable of producing an output voltage waveform of high power with a high SN ratio even if miniaturized, and detecting an external magnetic field with high sensitivity, and to provide an electronic goniometer using the element and a magnetic field detecting method. SOLUTION: The magnetic sensor element 1 includes: a pickup coil 6 made up of a spiral conductor thin film; a magnetic core 3 provided so as to lap over each of the same phase magnetic-field generating portions 27A and 30A of the pickup coil 6, and having a conductive part 9 which intersects each forward line 27, 30 of the same phase magnetic-field generating portions 27A and 30A; and an insulating layer 5 for insulating the pickup coil 6 and the magnetic core 3. A current which changes with time is caused to flow into the conductive part 9 of the magnetic core 3 in a direction (width direction) substantially parallel to the direction of extension of the forward lines 27 and 30, to excite the conductive part 9, and an induced voltage generated in the pickup coil 6 due to a change in magnetic flux in the magnetic core 3 is output.
