PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pore conspicuousness-improving agent which can act on the epidermal cells of skin to disappear cone-shaped structures including pores and the peripheral portions of the openings of the pores. SOLUTION: The pore conspicuousness-improving agent is characterized by comprising one or more selected from basic amino acids of L-arginine, lysine, and histidine, one or more selected from acidic amino acids, one or more selected from neutral amino acids, and one or more selected from electrolytes, and keeping pH at 7.5 to 8.0. The pore conspicuousness-improving agent especially promotes the swelling of the curved portions of pore openings to shallow and disappear the peripheral skin grooves of pores.
