PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for games which can prevent other persons from illegally withdrawing a recording medium on which there is recorded information on available values that allows the specification of the available values possessed by a player. SOLUTION: Counting with a timer is started (S611) on the conditions that the reception of the recording medium, the reception of cash or counting is actually made (S601:YES) and the return of the recording medium is forbidden (S621) on the conditions that no game related information (S613) is detected until the time up for the counting expires (S612:NO).
