PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sauna apparatus capable of restoring a state before a power failure as far as possible even when a power failure occurs in the operation state of the sauna apparatus and it is restored. SOLUTION: When restored after a power failure, the sauna apparatus determines whether or not the water level of a water storage part 6 is equal to or higher than a prescribed water level, water is at or above a prescribed temperature and the room temperature of a sauna room 2 is equal to or higher than a prescribed temperature to determine whether to return to the operation state or to end as it is, returns to a start mode when an operation switch 56 is turned ON within the prescribed time after the restoration of power further, and returns to a disinfection mode B when it is not turned ON or it is turned ON after the lapse of the prescribed time. Thus, since the operation state before the power failure is recognized as far as possible and the operation state after restoration from the power failure is selected while confirming the intention of a user after the restoration from the power failure by the operation of the operation switch 56, usability is excellent.
