A refrigeration device for a trailer, adapted for cooling the space in the chamber of the trailer, the refrigeration device comprising a generator (40), an engine (41) for driving the generator (40), an inverter (70) for converting the electric power which is outputted from the generator (40) and outputting the converted power, and an electric compressor (22) driven by the electric power outputted by the inverter (70). The generator (40), the engine (41), the inverter (70), and the electric compressor (22) are contained within a casing unit (31). The refrigeration device is also provided with a cooling section (26, 40a, 90, 95) for cooling the inverter (70) by air outside the chamber of the trailer (11). |
