<p>A charging system is provided with a locking apparatus (313) which locks a connector (310) provided at an end of a cable so as to be kept connected with an inlet (250) provided to a vehicle, a release button (314) for releasing locking effected by the locking apparatus (313), a switch (312) which generates a signal (CNCT) indicating the connection of the connector (310) with the inlet (250), a horn (270), and an ECU(170). The switch (312) stops the generation of the signal (CNCT) according to the operation of the release button (314). The ECU (170) controls charging to an electricity storage device (150) and detects the presence/absence of the signal (CNCT). When the ECU (170) detects the generation of the signal (CNCT) has been stopped while the electricity storage device (150) is being charged, the ECU (170) makes the horn (270) output an alarm.</p> |
