PURPOSE: A synergistic microbicidal composition containing N-methyl-1,2-benzisothiazoline-3-one is provided to enhance microbicidal efficiency. CONSTITUTION: A microbicidal composition contains 2-(thiocyanomethylthio)benzothiazole and N-methyl-1,2-benzisothiazoline-3-one in a content ratio of 1:0.063-1:143. A microbicidal agent is produced by mixing with a solvent or solid carrier. The solvent is water, glycol, alcohol, ketone, ester, carbonate, and mixture thereof. The solid carrier is cyclodextrin, silica, wax, cellulose substance, alkali and alkali earth metal. |
