PURPOSE: A mobile terminal and a method for controlling the same are provided to supply user convenience by applying regional identification information such as geotag to the mobile terminal. CONSTITUTION: A wireless communication unit(110) performs wireless communication with the other party, and a memory(160) stores at least one object having geographical identification data. If the location information is received through the wireless communication with the other party or is inputted by a user, a control unit(180) controls the execution of an object having the regional identification data corresponding to the received location information. |
