PURPOSE: A method for forming a drum stopper is provided to simultaneously form female and male stoppers by pressing a single metal plate of a certain thickness. CONSTITUTION: A cup(15) with flanges(14,14') is formed by pressing a single metal plate using a single mold, where the depth of the cup is the sum of the depths of male and female stoppers. The cup is cut along a cut line(B) into a female blank(16) and a male blank(17). A female stopper with female thread and a sleeve is formed in the female blank using a thread rolling machine. The male blank with male thread and a flange is formed in the male blank with a rolling method. The male stopper is opened and closed on the female stopper through the female and male threads.
