PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metallically finished plastic ornament which is improved in adhesion between a molding and a vapor deposition film without spoiling the appearance of an injection-molded plastic molding surface-transferred by using a mirror-finished mold or an electrocasting mold having a fine pattern such as crimps or hairlines without arranging an undercoat when a metal such as aluminum is vapor-deposited. SOLUTION: The underlayer vapor deposition of a chromium-containing alloy is carried out on the surface of the plastic molding. Next, after the vapor deposition of at least one of an aluminum alloy, a tin alloy, a silver alloy, and a nickel alloy, an ultraviolet curable coating is applied to form a protective coat.
