X-SHAPED CONJUGATED ORGANIC COMPOUND, DYE-SENSITIZED PHOTOELECTRIC CONVERTER AND DYE-SENSITIZED SOLAR CELLS USING THE COMPOUND

PURPOSE: An X-shape conjugated organic compound and dye sensitive photoelectric conversion device and solar cell are provided to ensure strong adsorption with a metal oxide and to improve photoelectric conversion efficiency. CONSTITUTION: An X-shape conjugated organic compound contains two electron donors and two electron acceptors having -COOH group for adsorbing to a metal oxide. The electron donor is carbazole, phenoxyazine, thiophene, trianylamine, or a derivative thereof. The electron acceptor is cyanoacrylic acid, rhodanin-3-acetic acid, or a derivative thereof. The X-shape conjugated organic compound is denoted by chemical formula 1 or 2. A dye sensitive photoelectric conversion device contains an oxide semiconductor microsphere. The dye sensitive solar cell contains the device.
