PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing a hazy optical film is provided to impart good luminance and a haze property as well as a diffusion ability to an optical film. CONSTITUTION: A method for manufacturing a hazy optical film with a diffusion ability includes the steps of: preparing a resin composition consisting of 80~90 weight% of acrylate oligomer, 3~11 weight% of low viscosity acrylatemonomer, 3~7 weight% of photopolymerization initiator, 0.05~1.5 weight% of filler, and 0.1~5.0 weight% of dispersing agent; preparing a base film selected from the group consisting of polycarbonate, polysulfonic acid, polyacrylate, polystyrene, polyvinylchloride, polyvinylalcohol, polynorbornene, and polyester; and prism coating the surface of the base film with the resin composition.
