<p>Disclosed is a fume suction unit which comprises a suction fan (3), a casing (5) covering the suction fan (3), and drive means for driving the suction fan (3). The casing (5) includes a discharge-side end surface portion (11) located on a discharge side of the suction fan (3) and having a discharge port, a side surface portion (14) connected with a peripheral edge of the discharge-side end surface portion (11) and covering a periphery of the suction fan (3), a first suction section located on a suction side of the suction fan (3) and having a passage communicated with an internal space of the side surface portion (14), and a second suction section provided to be communicatable with the internal space of the side surface portion (14) and having a suction characteristic different from that of the first suction section. The fume suction unit is adapted to perform suction from at least one of the first suction section and the second suction section.</p> |
