PURPOSE: A vertical type shell breaker is provided to grind the shell into small pieces in process of transferring into upper part and induce the grinded shell powder to fall to the center by weight in lower part of grinding drum by weight. CONSTITUTION: A vertical type shell breaker includes a base frame(100), a grinding unit(200) a shell supplying unit(300), a shell discharge chute(250), a trailing line discharge chute(260). The base frame is installed in the predetermined height of the ground. The grinding unit is installed in the vertical direction to upper part of the base frame. The shell supplying unit is installed in one side of the lower part of the grinding unit and supplies fixed quantity of shell including trailing line. The shell discharge chute is installed in bottom of lower part of grinding unit and the grinded shell is discharged into lower part. The trailing line discharging chute is installed in one side of the upper part of grinding unit and the trailing line of after the shell is divided is discharged to upper part. The shell is supplied by using conveyor transmitting device(400) to a shell supply unit.
