PURPOSE: A method and a device for preventing the lack of exposure of photographing in a digital image processor are provided to determines whether the strobe pop up is exists or not and to apply the exposure value, thereby preventing an image lack of exposure to be photographed by abnormally not popping up the strobe and obtaining the desired image. CONSTITUTION: An exposure setting unit sets a first exposure value when light emitting a strobe and a second exposure value when not light emitting the strobe. The determination unit determines whether the strobe is normally popped up or abnormally popped up. A display control unit(81) displays an image on a display unit by controlling a display unit(80). The whole operation of the digital image processor generalize a CPU(100).
